This is a soft coat DONE RIGHT! I’ve seen too many attempts at a ‘soft coat’ with a heavy canvas, over-padded shoulders, etc. Soft jackets are just that, soft. They don’t have as much structure as your regular sport coats, easy, casual, relaxed.

It is hard to capture the unique hue of this suit. The base is a navy and the fine pin dot is a violet, resulting in a suit that has a deep burgundy tone to it. I have been wanting to make this outfit for a long time and was not disappointed!
